We are very sorry, but we do not cover pop, rock, Christian or country music; we do not cover the visual arts or non-performing arts community events. If you would like to send a press release about an upcoming performing arts event, please send to press@KCMetropolis.org.

- Read the KC Events Terms of Service before proceeding
- On the left-hand nav is a category called Submit Content
- Click on Submit an Event or Manage Your Events.
- Listings will be approved with 48 hours if it fits the KCMetropolis.org criteria.

As the year winds down most arts organizations are taking a well-deserved break to gear up for the next half of the season. The Kansas City Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker continues until December 27. Some seasonal theatre is running through the holidays: "Miss Witherspoon," "Christmas Story. The Musical!," “Christmas in Song” and “It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.” New Theatre Restaurant’s “Run For Your Wife” continues through early February. After the Kansas City Repertory Theatre's 29-year run of performing "A Christmas Carol," Eric Rosen, in only his 2nd full season as its artistic director, deserves a theatric medal of valor for breaking with three decades of tradition to stage this new musical.
