Auditions for the 2011–12 Concert Season with the Kansas City Chorale conducted by Charles Bruffy
Auditions for the 2011-2012 Season will be held July 10, 11 and 12.
The Kansas City Chorale is a professional choir of 12 men and 12 women. The concert season runs from September through April, with 8 performances each year. Additionally, the Chorale performs several contract concerts during the year in various locations across the country.
Rehearsals are generally held on Friday and Sunday evenings 6:30 – 9:30. Season performances are usually Saturday, Sunday and/or Tuesday. Membership in the Chorale requires a strong commitment to the art, the excellence, and your colleagues in the choir.

The Choral Foundation announces auditions for:
William Baker Festival Singers, a 50-voice ensemble specializing in sacred a cappella works, spirituals, and an annual major accompanied work, is heading into its 14th season in Kansas City. Auditions are open for all sections, especially tenors and basses.
2011-12 repertoire will feature Bloch's Sacred Service and will include works by Brahms, di Lassus, Bruckner, Lauridsen, Dello Joio, Whitacre, and others.
