KCMetropolis.org fills an essential need in the community for definitive performing arts coverage. A true grassroots movement, we bring together the voices of many expert writers, musicians, musicologists and arts aficionados; and working in partnership with other arts-related and tourism-based organizations, will strive to present the most extensive and exciting coverage ever offered of our rich performing arts community. October 5 marked our first anniversary of publishing.
KCM was created to be a showcase of the performing arts in the community and is classified as an arts service organization. We are here to promote you – and the more readership we have, the more you are promoted in the community.
Internet advertising is 85% less expensive than traditional print media and has the potential of being viewed by a much larger audience. KCMetropolis.org has a very targeted voluntary-based readership that supports, follows and attends the performing arts in the metro area. Kansas City is reading KCMetropolis.org… and the numbers will continue to rise as more people hear about us - and about you.

SPECIFICATIONS:
KCMetropolis.org features a more traditional print media ‘look and feel’ and thus, sponsorship advertising is traditional display advertising. We will always maintain a higher balance of editorial v. sponsorship advertising, so all ads on site will run as display ads with a live link to your website. No flash, please. All ads are 250x125. Please remember to make your ad compelling and include a “call to action.” All ads should be ‘website ready” and 72 DPI to load up quickly.
Run Dates:
KCMetropolis.org publishes weekly each Wednesday.
Ad placement is on a first come/first served basis; but we will always give you best placement available.
Ad run dates are Wednesday at 12:05 a.m. until the following Tuesday at 11:55 p.m. – this constitutes ‘an issue”
Creatives are due into KCMetropolis.org by the Friday at 5 p.m. before run date.
